With Diablo 4 now officially launched, it's time to build your party and slay demons. For those of you who purchased a special version of the game such as the deluxe, or ultimate edition, you'll also have some extra perks to claim. These perks range from emotes to mounts and battle passes.

Updated by Chad Thesen on July 2nd, 2023: This guide provides insight on why players do not start with one of the pre-order incentive mounts. This section has been updated to include two additional embedded links. The first of the two links provides a list of some of the best armors available for your mounts. The second provides a guide that lists out the locations you will need to travel to in order to obtain these mount armors.
Your rewards from preordering Diablo 4 will unlock automatically once you complete the relevant Main Story Quest. This quest is different for mounts than everything else.
While most content will be unlocked early on, you'll notice that the Lightbearer and Temptation mounts are notably missing. This is because you'll need to gain access to mounted travel by completing the quest Mount - Donan's Favor. This quest won't be until Act 4, so unfortunately get used to walking. Once you have mounts unlocked, you'll be able to equip them with the barding included in your order as well by speaking to the Stable NPC in town. There are plenty of armors that will become available for these mounts, and you will need to seek them out throughout your journey.
For all special content beyond mounts such as cosmetic sets and emotes, you need only to complete the prologue of the game. You'll know the prologue is complete when you hand Lorath his amulet during the quest Missing Pieces.
Once the content is unlocked, you'll need to locate where the game puts it, and equip it. Our guide is here to give you all the information you need on how to unlock your purchased content, where to find it, and how to use it.

After finishing the prologue, you might be eager to equip and test out your new items. These will be available in their relevant title such as:
You can expect to receive these items using the associated games' typical rewards system - such as a mailbox.
Once you've completed the Mount - Donan's Favor quest, speak to the Stable NPC to customize your mount and access purchased content. This is also where you will be able to buy additional mounts.

Your unlocked Emote Wing of The Creator will be included on the Emote wheel. Open this wheel by holding the up key on the D-pad of your controller (or the E key on the keyboard). Cycle through the three wheels for different options, then select one to perform it.
If you aren't currently seeing Wings of the Creator on your Emote wheel, then you'll need to bind it to one of the slots.
It currently appears that the Deluxe and Ultimate versions of the game are here to stay - meaning you will be able to buy them at any time. If you have bought the standard version of the game, but wish to upgrade, there is currently an option to do so in the in-game shop.
Once you've purchased a special edition, all relevant rewards will be tied to your Blizzard account and do not expire. If you are having trouble claiming these rewards, or believe there has been an error, try contacting support (with the receipt handy) to have the purchase restored.
