LOOK: ROSANNE CASH CANCELS SHOWS DUE TO MEDICAL EMERGENCY

Sept. 8 (UPI) -- Singer-songwriter Rosanne Cash has canceled three upcoming shows due to an "unexpected medical emergency," her management team announced.

"She is recovering under her doctors' supervision, who have recommended a temporary restriction on travel and performing," her team said in a statement Monday.

"Rosanne deeply regrets the cancellation and looks forward to rescheduling appearances."

The canceled shows were to take place this week in Wyoming and Montana.

Cash, 71, is expected to resume her tour Sept. 19 in Arkansas.

The Grammy winner is the eldest daughter of the late country music legend Johnny Cash and his first wife Vivian.
