The cast of the Beatles biopics is continuing to come together.
The upcoming biopic series about The Beatles, consisting of four films that each focus on one member of the iconic band, has added a few more stars to its supporting cast: Farhan Akhtar, Lucy Boynton, Morfydd Clark and Harry Lawtey.
Akhtar will play Ravi Shankar, the Indian musician who influenced George Harrison; Boynton will play Jane Asher, former girlfriend of Paul McCartney; Clark is playing Cynthia Lennon, John Lennon's first wife; and Lawtey is playing Stuart Sutcliffe, The Beatles' original bass guitarist.

The "Beatles" biopics previously revealed the casting of its Fab Four: Paul Mescal is playing McCartney, Joseph Quinn is George Harrison, Barry Keoghan is Ringo Starr and Harris Dickinson is Lennon. The movies are part of what is being described as a "four-film cinematic event," with each of the four films told from one band member's "distinct point of view," according to Sony. They will all hit theaters simultaneously.
The cast also includes Mia McKenna-Bruce as Starr's first wife Maureen Starkey; Saoirse Ronan will play McCartney's wife, Linda; Anna Sawai is playing Lennon's wife, Yoko Ono; and Aimee Lou Wood will star as Harrison's wife, Pattie Boyd.
Late last month, the first photos of the four central stars as the Beatles were revealed by way of postcards that were hidden around the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts for students to find.
Sam Mendes is directing all four of the Beatles movies. The "American Beauty" and "1917" filmmaker said at CinemaCon last year that the Beatles "changed my understanding of music," and he described the four-film project as "the first binge-able theatrical experience."
"Seeing all four films in proximity tells the story in a unique way," Mendes also said, noting that characters and events will cross over between the films.
The films are set for release in April 2028.
