STAR-POWERED CELEBS FLOOD FROST BANK CENTER FOR SPURS-KNICKS GAME 2
As the San Antonio Spurs flirt with a sixth NBA Championship title, a swarm of celebs have spilled into the city. While Game 1 brought in plenty of star power, Game 2 hauled in even more Hollywood magic. Here's a roundup of a few more famous faces that flooded into the Alamo City for the NBA Finals round.
Chris Tucker
Actor and comedian Chris Tucker, known for starring in iconic 1990s films like Rush Hour and the Fifth Element, rose to fame with his quick wit and rapid-fire energy. On Friday night, he was spotted strutting into the Frost Bank Center wearing an all-black 'fit - complete with a leather jacket and gold-framed shades.
According to a Wednesday post from @SpursReporter, Tucker is rooting for the Spurs: "I'm gonna go to San Antonio for the games," he said in a video clip. "Those guys, they my family."
Billy Baldwin
Known as a Hollywood heartthrob in his heyday, Billy Baldwin was seen speaking to the Salesian Sisters - otherwise known as the "Spurs Nuns" - while rooting for the Knicks.
Kels
A former San Antonio resident, musician Kelsey Hillock stopped by San Antonio to sing the "Star Spangled Banner" ahead to the Spurs Game 2 matchup against the Knicks. "I used to live here (as a kid)," she told the Express-News. "My parents were in the military ... so it has good memories."
