So You Think You Can Dance alum Allison Holker is engaged. She shared the news on Instagram on Feb. 12.
"We're ENGAGED! It was the most romantic night of my life!" she wrote.
The proposal was a part of her 38th birthday celebration on Feb. 6.
Holker said Adam Edmunds planned a surprise birthday party for her. He shocked her with a proposal in front of family and friends, also at the party.
The engagement is three years after her husband, Stephen "tWitch" Boss, who died in 2022.
Holker and Boss tied the knot in 2013. They have three children: Weslie, 17, Maddox, 9 and Zaia, 5.
Holker revealed her relationship with Edmunds for the first time on social media in September 2024. Since then, she has been posting their life together online.
The proposal included red rose petals and a live performance of the couple’s favorite song, “I Guess I’m in Love,” by Clinton Kane. The event was planned by Troy Williams of Simply Troy Events.

Holker shared more details about the night in her post. She wrote that Edmunds “surprised me with a surprise birthday party and then surprised me and all our guests at the party with a surprise proposal party.”
Photos from the event show Edmunds getting down on one knee on red rose petals. Family and friends were there to watch. Clinton Kane performed “I Guess I’m in Love” during the party. Holker said the song is special to them.
In her message, she wrote,
“I am so in love with you, Adam. Baby, I am forever grateful for you and the impact you have had in my life and my kids' lives. Every morning I wake up, I feel safe knowing you are my person at my side.”
Holker shared that Edmunds and his children joining their lives has meant a lot to her family. She ended her post with a promise, writing,
“Adam, I will always support you, hold you and love you!”

Holker had been married to Stephen "tWitch" Boss from 2013 until his death in December 2022. He was a DJ on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and dancing was his passion. The pair frequently posted dance and family pictures on social media.
Holker kept her late husband's traditions alive after he passed away. In December 2025, on the third anniversary of their time together, she uploaded a video featuring photos of their moments together.
Captioning the post, they addressed him,
"We honor you and cherish all of our beautiful memories with you. We loved laughing, creating, and dancing. We will love you forever."
Accompanying the post with a thank you message, she added,
"Thank you for your endless love and support. It means the world to me and my kids."
During the last three years, Holker has occasionally shared photos of her children's school functions and family activities. In August 2023, she posted the first dance video after Boss passed.
They made a joint TikTok clip with her daughter, Weslie. The family, in addition, has continued their tradition of attending film premieres and other events together.
