The Talamasca Is the Third Series in AMC's Immortal Universe

Anne Rice's The Talamasca marks the third series in AMC's Immortal Universe, which began with 2022's Interview with the Vampire and was continued with 2023's Anne Rice's Mayfair Witches. Unlike the other two series in the Immortal Universe, The Talamasca never had a dedicated novel or series of books of its own. Instead, the members of the secret society who monitor and track the various supernatural beings of the world only ever appeared in other titles by Anne Rice, including both The Vampire Chronicles and Lives of the Mayfair Witches lines of novels.

Lucifer Star Joins the Cast of Criminal Minds: Evolution Season 3

One of the most beloved actors from Lucifer is preparing to make a whole new debut in the upcoming third season of Criminal Minds: Evolution.

In June, Interview with the Vampire and Mayfair Witches executive producer Mark Johnson discussed the kinds of crossovers that fans can expect to see take place between the three Immortal Universe series in the near future.

"With the shows that we're making and developing, they aren’t directly connected," Johnson noted. "With that said, we're discovering that there are some characters that it does work with. There's somebody from Interview that’s going to appear in Mayfair Witches, but she's much more complicated than I thought she was. In the feature world, I did the three Chronicles of Narnia and it was very easy to figure out different characters you could interlace. That's not the case here."

Anne Rice's The Talamasca is currently expected to arrive sometime in 2025.
